But in the end, the ones who laugh most are generally the ones who hurt the most.
Despite his upper class upbringing, Josh Dragomir never really found himself with any disdain toward the lower classes, or even other people at all for most of his life. He had been a quiet kid, imaginative, engrossed with reading stories of lands in other worlds that he didn't even know if they existed, not that it mattered. Losing his family originally made him cold, withdrawn and reclusive to others, though this changed in time after becoming the Blue Dragon. Finding himself accidentally becoming a hero, and seeing that people everyday suffered just as he did, he began to become much warmer to the people around him, even if they couldn't know about his life as a crimefighter.
Josh is generally warm, vibrant, compassionate and caring towards others, even if his snarkiness, quick wit and sense of humor may cause some things he says to be taken out of context. He has a confidence to him, a good balance that keeps him from full on arrogance, though he might come off like it sometimes in his snark. He will rarely hesitate to help someone in need. As a businessman, he has very little interest, evidenced by his delegating most of the work in those ventures to others, but when it comes to his work as a crimefighter, he takes it incredibly seriously. Why? Well, the answer is quite simple. While he was groomed to run the company one day, Josh Dragomir never held the interest in business that his family did. While his intelligence would likely allow him to pick many jobs up quickly, he knew it was better to delegate certain jobs to those far more qualified to do them, to ensure the companies success while he had time to do what he himself was invested in. It was a mutually benefitial endeavor, and spoke of Josh's ability to assess and act.
As mentioned, Josh is incredibly intelligent, far beyond his years. He is a cunning tactician and brilliant strategist in the heat of battle, capable of thinking on the fly. He has a keen ability to read people, though he does seem to forget to at times. He can be philosophical here and there, and may go on on and on, depending on what he is discussing and who he is speaking to.
He is dedicated to his work as a crimefighter, a workhorse at a level that in the business world, he would have been thought insane. He is dedicated to his craft, dedicated to training to remain in fighting shape, and dedicated to getting stronger tto protect the people of his city, and to accomplish his end-goal. Still, despite his heroic traits, Josh still keeps his end-goal in mind. The interesting factor in all of this is, Josh has a no-kill rule to his work. This was not the case at first, and a situation early on in his career caused it. But he is fully aware that should the day come that he is able to find his families killer...
He's going to have to choose.
This life of crimefighting has become his life the last seven years, and he was certainly conflicted about the fact that when he did find his sworn foe, he not only intended to kill him, he intended originally to leave the Blue Dragon behind. It was something that hadn't bothered him at first, but now... After seven years?
He wasn't sure anymore.
HoloWatch - The newest development in holographic technology! A watch that can use holograms with a touch interface to access the internet, phone services, as well as a built in storage! Yes, that's right! The HoloWatch can HOLD ITEMS up to a certain amount of weight and size. How it does this? That's simple! It de-constructs the item into data for storage, and re-constructs it in record time upon a press of a holographic button! It's fast, it's convenient, and it's available for purchase by ANYONE who can afford it! As for how this pertains to Dragon? He has one's functions built into the wrist part of his armored suit, knowing he wouldn't be able to access it on his wrist while it was on. It's connected, of course, to one on his wrist, and when not in costume, he stores it in the HoloWatch. This allows him to switch in and out of costume seamlessly.
Katanas - Dragon has two basic katanas hidden in compartments modified into the wrist and arm sections of his armored suit, one on each arm. Pressing the mechanism allows him to bring out the katanas for melee combat. They can also be brought out halfway, allowing for Dragon to keep them at his wrists to act as wrist blades if it comes to close quarters combat. Also good for cutting cake.
Dragon DNA:
Superhuman Strength - While Dragon has trained in combat and holds natural physical strength, his biggest "strength" in this sector, no pun intended, is a result of his DNA modifications. He has what tends to be referred to as "The Strength Of The Dragon", and can lift objects up to several times his bodies own weight. This itself has increased over the seven years spent under the Blue Dragon mantle, and Dragon's strength has increased astronomically. It's uncertain the degrees of his strength at this point, or just what he is capable of, but as his DNA continues to evolve as he continues to fight and gain experience, it's possible the potential for this power, like the others within his DNA, has no ceiling.
Increased Lifespan/Maintained Youth - In the universe they are rumored to be from, dragons apparently could live for thousands of years. With his body holding remnants of a dragon's DNA, it stands to reason that Blue Dragon could potentially live even a fraction of that time. Of course, this is only speculation, but Dragon has aged at a slower rate thus far, and still looks to be in his early 20s under his helmet.
Superhuman Endurance - With the strength of a dragon also comes it's endurance. Dragon is capable of handling damage to his body far beyond human limits, and has a heavy tolerance to pain. The pain tolerance? Likely due to having to endure said pain beyond human limits, so that's not likely a power, and just Dragon. The endurance though, is mainly from his DNA.
Pyrokinesis - Inherited from his DNA, Dragon is capable of summoning flames to use against his enemies. He is able to charge fireballs in his hands and toss them at his opponents, or even fire them straight from the palm in quick succession to exchange power for speed. He is able to ignite any part of his body on fire, which while limited in his early years, has been developed over the last seven years to where he can ignite his entire body if he so desires, with no harm to him or his armor. His body has taken a natural heat resistance thanks to this, and flames do little to hurt him. The Blue Dragon can slam his fist into the ground to create a circle of flames that appear around him, rising up as though they were geysers in the bottom of a volcano. He is able to douse flames that are not his, though it takes a considerable amount of energy to do so. Dragon is also able to protect himself using a shield cloaked in flames that temporarily circles his body.
Dragon's Wings - The Dragon DNA within him has grown and evolved, and in time allowed Blue Dragon to sprout dragon-like wings, a blue color that matches his suit, from his back, sizable and strong enough to carry his weight even while armored, and allows him to be fully capable of flight. His time using a glider within his suit to simulate a limited variant of this power before the DNA developed it allowed him to more quickly master the use of his wings when they developed, and Dragon has become a skilled aerial combatant in the years since. Dragon's suit has been modified, removing the old glider, to accommodate for the wings bursting out without damaging the suit or the wings. Dragon is able to bring them out, as well as retract them, at will, and is able to cover great distances in a short time after the years he has had to hone his use of it. While he still uses conventional means from time to time, this has become Blue Dragon's primary method of transportation.
Berserk Mode - It is when Dragon grows angry that his power truly begins to come out. His DNA appears to cause a reaction to his powers the angrier Dragon becomes. The heat of his flames become more intense, the power of every blow is strengthened. But in exchange, his senses are dulled, he isn't thinking as well as he usually is. Even his human side is damaged, as he becomes far more cold, ruthless and completely merciless. In this state, he can be incredibly dangerous, but it can also be his downfall. This may be more of a side effect of his DNA, then an actual power.
- No seriously, just put a gun to his face and he's probably dead.
- Easily misunderstood, with his words often being lost in translation as he is constantly joking around.
- Headstrong, willing to take on opponents stronger then him, even if it isn't wise to do so. While sometimes, he may understand he is outmatched, others it may be a delayed realization. Sometimes he just doesn't care.
- Prideful, he is a warrior and has the pride of one. Can lead him to trouble.
- Sometimes doesn't understand when his humor is unwanted. While he can usually read people well, this isn't always the case.
- Tendency to blame himself for failure, even when it was out of his control.
- Fear of loss, after the deaths of his parents, Dragon became afraid to lose someone close to him ever again. These fears were realized in losing Evee while on-mission, and he blames himself for it.
- Haunted by regret, Dragon still feels the effects of losing his partner and former flame, Evee, also known as Angel.

Of course, Josh wasn't interested. Unfortunately, his family was a bit too worried about their work and keeping it's heading in the family to understand that, and they pushed it until he agreed to work toward being ready, even without the enthusiasm for it that they had. Josh had been a quiet kid, preferring to read stories in his spare time rather then worry about the future of a company. Still, never again did he protest it after the first time. Instead, he grew up wanting to travel the world as a self-employed counselor, wanting to help people. Sure, he was annoyed with his family at times for pushing him toward a path he didn't want, but they were good to him, and he loved them all the same. He grew up well, and while he didn't have any interest in their affairs, he was inspired by their diligence to it, something that inspired him in his own studies. This made him the workhorse that he became later in life. It was when he was 18, shortly after graduating from high school, that the time finally came. The Dragomir Family's company, the Dragomir Families WORK, was FINALLY going to come to fruition! They were going to be able to access another world, another UNIVERSE, for the FIRST TIME! Wanting their son to see their achievement, to see what they had strived toward and for him to understand why they wanted him to take the role should something happen to them.
The experiment was simple. They were going to open a hole to that realm. They didn't have the resources to go there themselves just yet, but if this were a success, they would be able to transport something FROM that universe into this one! It was a mammoth first step, one that would set the tone for the rest of their work. But when one succeeds, well... Generally, they make enemies. A man named Barbos, the leader of an organization simply known as The Syndicate that operated within Acadio as a mob family, had offered a partnership between his family and what became known as Raicor Industries. He saw the potential for success, and wanted a cut of what they found, to benefit his mob family, in exchange for resources and funding. Not wanting to associate themselves with a mob family, and feeling they were already more then financially able to fund this project for years to come, as well off as they had become with their success and how successful Raicor had become, they had declined. Not able to take being turned down, Barbos and his men broke into the lab as the experiment was in-progress, with the intention of killing everyone inside and taking the results of the project for himself. A gunfight ensued, and his parents were gunned down in the crossfire. Several stray bullets hit the machine that had been built for the experiment, and right then...
Well, the rest of it was a blur to Josh.
He recalled an explosion. He recalled being knocked unconscious by it, and was probably mistaken for dead by the mob. All he could see when he awoke was that vision of Barbos himself putting a bullet through his parents.
He'd remember that face...
Josh was alone now. At 18, he was orphaned, and now the head of Raicor Industries. But even then, he knew better. He delegated most of his duties to people within the company that were experienced, that had worked with his parents throughout much of the project's tenure. Josh's duties were as simple as review, and final say on decision making. Sure, he could have delegated that too, and just gotten owner's cut, but...
He understood now. How important this had been to his parents. In his memory, he wanted to keep their vision of this project intact.
He chose to delegate though, for two reasons. One, he knew that said people that worked on it long term with his parents would do those duties far better then he could. To keep his families vision alive, he wanted the upmost quality, so he needed the best people on the jobs they were best at. And second? Well...
All he could think about was that face.
All he could think about was getting revenge for what he had done.
He loved his parents, he really did. And they were finally beginning to understand each other... But one man's selfishness ruined it all. Of course, it was selfish desire for revenge originally, that brought Josh to spend much of his time training, training to bring his body to it's limits and beyond them. He trained in martial arts without the company knowing, without his guardians knowing, without anyone knowing, under the best he could find across the country. But it was something else that had spurned the realization that he could get that revenge... And set him on the path.
The accident, the explosion... It had effected him somehow.
The experiment had been a success.
In that moment before the explosion, they had opened a gate to another world, another universe. And it had brought back the remains of a material that seemed to come from the remains of mythical dragons, ones thought mere fantasy in their world. It was when he'd unintentionally lit his arm on fire that he sought a physician in secret, who under promise of confidentiality found that his DNA, his genetic code, had been altered. Mixed with whatever had been brought out of that gate. His body was stronger, tougher, and able to do things that no mortal man could do.
He had his means of revenge.
As for the material? He found it was quite good for armor... An armored suit, of sorts, resembling that of the mythical dragons.
With months and months of training behind him... It was time to don it and set out for his revenge.
The Blue Dragon.
It was ironic, to go anonymous, under a name that symbolized what Barbos had killed his parents for. Josh needed to go undercover... He doubted anyone would be accepting of his new powers, and he had to keep his and Raicor's integrity anyway.
By day, he was Josh Dragomir... Businessman. By night, he was The Blue Dragon, moving through the shadows to hunt down Barbos.
And kill him for what he had done.
In trying to locate him though, he found himself stopping crime across the city. It started as just one mugging stopped... Then another... Then another... Then another. He tried to keep low profile, trying to question any members of Barbos' mob as to where his officers were, trying to work his way up and get to Barbos himself. But in doing so, he found himself disrupting many of the mob's activities, many of which included much of the cities crime.
There were whispers, rumblings of an armored man stopping criminals, but never any serious evidence, aside from the stopped crimes, the charred marks on the criminals which were dismissed as simply someone using weaponry instead of something so outlandish as superpowers. By the time the police arrived, the Dragon was always gone.
He'd accidentally become the cities hero. A folklore legend, though never 100% proven or ever in the public eye. But his goal remained... Find and kill Barbos. Although one thing changed...
His ability to kill.
He'd killed a mugger by accident, who'd attempted to threaten the life of a young woman for her valuables. He didn't think any of it, feeling he deserved it, and had slipped into the shadows when a little girl approached the fallen criminal. When the words "Daddy?" were uttered, he'd stopped dead. Kept to the shadows... But he was shattered.
He couldn't kill anymore.
Never again.
He couldn't risk tearing a family apart, no matter how bleak things looked... He refused to become the same kind of monster that Barbos was, who had taken his parents from him.
Seven years passed... He continued to hunt Barbos down, but always came so close but never found him. He continued to be the cities hero from the shadows... Never doing anything too obvious, too big, in order to keep out of the public eye. But he wanted to... If only he could find a way to cover his ass and keep the attention off him while he did so.
But seven years after the day he became the Dragon, he knew he was getting close. Barbos was just within his grasp...
But now he had to make a decision.
His intent had been simple. Kill Barbos, and leave the Dragon behind when his mission had been complete.
But now... He faced two dilemmas.
One... Killing him. He doubted he had a family that cared for him, by how cruel he was... But it'd become a part of him, not killing. Could he pull it off? Was he really willing to give up all that he believed in, just for revenge? He... He didn't know. He didn't think he'd know for sure until the day came.
And two... Was he really ready to put the armor away and leave the Blue Dragon behind? Because while originally, this had just been a stage of his life, this crimefighting thing, helping people like he wished someone had helped him and his family...
He realized that the Blue Dragon had become his life.
Of course, he was no longer alone. One person knew of his identity. A man named Chad Knight, now the Iron Knight, served as his accomplice within Acadio. His old partner, and flame, Evee... She'd prior served as his partner, as the heroine Angel, until she was killed in a scrap with one of Barbos' officers.
Dragon was never the same, but his resolve to ensure Barbos and his men never hurt anyone again grew even stronger.

Personality:
Hiding a lifetime of misery and service is a vibrant, generally sarcastic, witty, even a bit snarky attitude. Dragon can often be heard letting out quips, or just being a smartass in general. Of course, he means well with it all. In truth, it's his way of coping. And spreading joy to others who he knows could use it. In his eyes, laughter is a repeatable joy, that should be shared as much as possible. He cracks jokes, he makes quips, even jokingly flirts here and there to get a smile, a laugh out of people. These all increase in intensity with people he's become comfortable with. But in the end, the ones who laugh most are generally the ones who hurt the most.

Abilities:
Intelligence - Josh is incredibly intelligent, far beyond his years. He is a cunning tactician and brilliant strategist in the heat of battle, capable of thinking on the fly.
Battling Instinct - While not a superhuman sense, Dragon's senses have been trained from years of training and years of experience, and his reflexes tend to follow suit. It will be difficult to catch him off-guard. Being vastly experienced, while still being at a peak age, will greatly benefit Dragon.
Hand To Hand Combat - Josh Dragomir is a skilled martial artist, having sought trainers out in secret after the death of his family to prepare him to become The Blue Dragon.
Bilingual - Due to where he's from, Josh Dragomir and by extension The Blue Dragon, knows both English and French and can speak them both fluently.

History:
Joshua "Josh" Dragomir was born in a small city in Canada, referred to as Acadio. Where in Canada? You probably wouldn't know, it was small, remote, out of the way. He lived a quiet, upper-class life under a pair of researchers for parents. Scientists, experimenters. Ones who were incredibly invested in the idea of there being other worlds, other universes. What tipped them off is unknown, but the idea that another universe, in which it contained a world that was akin to the medieval fantasy that you only heard in just that - fantasy - existed, was brought to their attention and given just enough evidence and resource to go after it. Their breakthroughs led them to become the head honchos of the company they had been working under for these pursuits, as the study and research of other worlds and multiverses fell under their roof. The company became their family business, and at an early age, Josh Dragomir, their only child, had begun to be groomed to be their successor should the time come.
