Masked/Unmasked
Description: Josh Dragomir became the Blue Dragon out of a desire for revenge on those who killed his family. But in the process, he became a force toward fighting crime. He has always operated from the shadows... At least, until now. On his seventh year of crime fighting, his goal still hasn't been attained, but he remains dedicated to his work.
With the resources he has, getting to whatever location you'd want to thread is no problem, so no worries there.
Personality: hiding a lifetime of misery and service is a vibrant, generally sarcastic, witty, even a bit snarky attitude. dragon can often be heard letting out quips, or just being a smartass in general. of course, he means well with it all. in truth, it's his way of coping. and spreading joy to others who he knows could use it. in his eyes, laughter is a repeatable joy, that should be shared as much as possible. he cracks jokes, he makes quips, even jokingly flirts here and there to get a smile, a laugh out of people. these all increase in intensity with people he's become comfortable with.
but in the end, the ones who laugh most are generally the ones who hurt the most.
despite his upper class upbringing, josh dragomir never really found himself with any disdain toward the lower classes, or even other people at all for most of his life. he had been a quiet kid, imaginative, engrossed with reading stories of lands in other worlds that he didn't even know if they existed, not that it mattered. losing his family originally made him cold, withdrawn and reclusive to others, though this changed in time after becoming the blue dragon. finding himself accidentally becoming a hero, and seeing that people everyday suffered just as he did, he began to become much warmer to the people around him, even if they couldn't know about his life as a crimefighter.
josh is generally warm, vibrant, compassionate and caring towards others, even if his snarkiness, quick wit and sense of humor may cause some things he says to be taken out of context. he has a confidence to him, a good balance that keeps him from full on arrogance, though he might come off like it sometimes in his snark. he will rarely hesitate to help someone in need. as a businessman, he has very little interest, evidenced by his delegating most of the work in those ventures to others, but when it comes to his work as a crimefighter, he takes it incredibly seriously. why? well, the answer is quite simple. while he was groomed to run the company one day, josh dragomir never held the interest in business that his family did. while his intelligence would likely allow him to pick many jobs up quickly, he knew it was better to delegate certain jobs to those far more qualified to do them, to ensure the companies success while he had time to do what he himself was invested in. it was a mutually benefitial endeavor, and spoke of josh's ability to assess and act.
as mentioned, josh is incredibly intelligent, far beyond his years. he is a cunning tactician and brilliant strategist in the heat of battle, capable of thinking on the fly. he has a keen ability to read people, though he does seem to forget to at times. he can be philosophical here and there, and may go on on and on, depending on what he is discussing and who he is speaking to.
he is dedicated to his work as a crimefighter, a workhorse at a level that in the business world, he would have been thought insane. he is dedicated to his craft, dedicated to training to remain in fighting shape, and dedicated to getting stronger tto protect the people of his city, and to accomplish his end-goal. still, despite his heroic traits, josh still keeps his end-goal in mind. the interesting factor in all of this is, josh has a no-kill rule to his work. this was not the case at first, and a situation early on in his career caused it. but he is fully aware that should the day come that he is able to find his families killer...
he's going to have to choose.
this life of crimefighting has become his life the last seven years, and he was certainly conflicted about the fact that when he did find his sworn foe, he not only intended to kill him, he intended originally to leave the blue dragon behind. it was something that hadn't bothered him at first, but now... after seven years?
he wasn't sure anymore.
Friends: Dragon is a peculiar sort. On one hand, he's serious about his work, and goes to great lengths to accomplish it. On the other, he can be a bit snarky, making jokes on the constant, sometimes he doesn't even know when he's doing wrong if he's going too far with it. But he always has the best of intentions.
If you can get past that, then in befriending Dragon, you will find a friend for life who will joke around with you, like you're family, and be there for you as such as well. He will do everything he can to assist you and keep you safe.
Wrong him, though, and you end up in...
Enemies: Honestly, so long as you don't do the general no-no stuff, it's pretty hard to make an enemy out of Dragon. He can get along with just about anybody if you actually make an effort. But if you manage to backstab him, or find some way to seriously piss him off... It's not likely there's any going back. He's not a trusting guy.
If Enemies isn't your style? Could try Friends. Or...
Lovers: This one is interesting, as Dragon -is- quite a bit of a flirt, but generally is just joking around in it, or being a mischievous sort, depending on the situation. He generally does it to lighten the mood though. Regardless, he hasn't been in a relationship since losing his last one due to allowing her to be brought into his life as a hero, and he's still blaming himself. So it might take a bit to trust himself to commit to a relationship again.
Get him out of that shell though, and he will be a committed lover to the end. He doesn't believe in adultery, nor polygamy of any kind. It's a massive no-no to him, obviously.
Relationships
Lover:
@wanda - The Scarlet Witch, Wanda, was one of the first neo-vagrants that Josh Dragomir has met. Yes, Josh Dragomir, not the Blue Dragon. It wasn't long before he found a fast friend and companion in Wanda, and the more time they spent together, the more he realized he'd grown to deeply care for her. He loves Wanda more than life itself, though is afraid to let another partner be involved in the other half of his life again. Thus, she only knows Josh Dragomir.
Friends:
Deadpool - The first person that Dragon ran into upon his arrival in New York, Dragon had witnessed Deadpool's high-flying entrance into our world, and immediately in his civilian identity tried to help him best he could. He took a liking to the Merc With A Mouth quite quickly for his personality, and found himself able to open up about being a neo-human in a fashion he'd never been able to bring himself to do before. Wolverine's made it clear that Wade has been kidnapped by the government, and while he doesn't say it, Dragon is worried, incredibly worried for his friend. He harbors a desire to break him out, but... With no leads, there isn't much he can do right now.
Aedan Byrne - Another neo-human, Dragon in his superhero identity was introduced to Imp after an encounter with a few thugs that Imp appeared to be familiar with. After that situation was dealt with, the two seem to have become close to an extent, though Dragon tries to keep from trusting too much after his prior slip-ups and opening up. Of course, he'd slipped up here and there with Imp, for reasons he can't seem to fully comprehend. Deep down, of course... Dragon considers Imp to be almost like the little brother he never had.
Wolverine - Another neo-human that Dragon was present for their arrival, he managed to redeem himself in his eyes for his earlier failure with Captain America in getting Wolverine to safety and briefing him. He, along with Wolverine and Imp seemed to hit it off well as a group, and Dragon would like to consider Logan a friend. He'd be happy to help him out if he needed Dragon's assistance in future.
Neutral:
Harley Quinn - Dragon met Harley Quinn in one of his early escapades into America, a misunderstanding causing him to attack her goons in search of Barbos. The two ended up making a deal that found him gaining information in exchange for... Certain favors. While he hasn't seen Harley in some time, her gang appears to at least recognize him, and once in awhile he catches the sight of one of them firing a flare if they see him, indicating the location of a Barbos Syndicate operation...
BATMAN - Dragon met the Dark Knight while trying to combat the Riddler, and Batman was instrumental in the fight that ensued. He doesn't like to admit it, but Batman covered for flaws that Dragon exhibited while under the effects of Berserk Mode, and he feels he can try to make it up for him for helping him out of a tight spot. It's unknown if their partnership will be more then a one-off, though, but Dragon respects the Bat for his capabilities.
Nevermore - Nevermore was also present during the Riddler Incident, and was a welcome help in that battle. Dragon found himself with some respect for his abilities, and related a bit to his sense of humor. He does want to work with Nevermore in future, that guy seemed pretty fun to hang with...
The Riddler - As Blue Dragon, he has vowed to stop the Riddler at every turn after seeing his hijinks before, which included Riddler murdering a hostage. He has less of a tolerance for Riddler's antics after that, and will resort to violence far sooner if that means keeping him from killing again. In an interesting twist of fate, Josh Dragomir has been hired on occasion as a counselor for Riddler while he has been in prison, and has been able to pick his brain. He sincerely does want to help him, even if he knows that should Riddler escape, he's going to have to bring him harm again in order to get him back behind bars and try again. He doesn't like doing it, but if it means getting a murderer off the street before he kills more innocent people...
Captain America - Knowing him by name thanks to Wanda, Dragon attempted to get Captain America to safety upon his arrival on New Earth. Unfortunately, he was beat to the punch by the Super Soldier, and Wolverine insists that Cap is now working for them. He deeply regrets, in his eyes, failing Wanda and failing Cap, and would do whatever he could to set it right.
