Physical Appearance: Dean is built like a beanstalk. He's about 6'4" but his muscle tone, while present, isn't bulky. Short, wavy brown hair covers his head, but most wouldn't see it because of his flat-billed cap that he wears with the front slightly off centered. He has a baby face with no facial hair, not even stubble and his hazel eyes are always scanning what's in front of him. Wearing either a black tank top or a white baggy t-shirt, his body looks even skinnier than it really is, combine that with his baggy cargo pants, he's a stereotypical wannabe gangster. A sucker is almost always in his mouth, it helps him concentrate and takes his mind off his cravings. Despite mostly being seen at night, his skin does have a slight tan on it, proving that he goes out in the daylight a lot. In his pockets he usually carries a small set of tools, mainly for doing a little tinkering or sabotage. However, one of his pockets always has suckers in it and he does his best to make sure it's never empty.







Personality: Despite his looks, Dean isn't someone most would want to annoy. Apart from him being easily irritated, the boy is the leader of a street gang known as the Jigsaws. But that's not to say he's the strongest, merely the most cunning and smartest. His favorite hobbies are street racing, hacking, and pissing off the authorities. He's always in trouble with the law, and takes pride in annoying police officers, security, etc. Nevertheless, the boy does have a soft side. He won't intentionally harm a child and if a homeless kid finds him, he will give them a place to stay, so long as they help with tasks. Most often, if he's not racing or stealing, the man can be found under the hood of a vehicle.



A few years ago, the man was addicted to smoking, but since tried to kick that habit, using suckers as a way to curb his addiction. Another addiction of his is brain teasers, the more difficult, the better. After a long day's work, he is perfectly content with sitting down with a beer or some wine while watching car shows or tinkering with an object.



When it comes to his gang, there are even a few people in it that he's willing to trust. Those that he does have been put in a position of command. If he's hanging out with a group of people, it's usually due to an ulterior motive. He doesn't help people just to be nice, he always expects compensation in some form or another. Fighting isn't his favorite thing, but he if he has to, his only rule is "win". He's not afraid to fight dirty and will bring a gun to a knife fight, literally.







Powers: Body Segmentation: Dean can remove parts of his body at will. Much like a gecko, if a part is removed, there's no blood and no pain. If the body part is lost, it will grow back quickly. Likewise, he is able to reattach the removed part anywhere on his body, so long as it has not been replaced.



Telepathic limb control: When part of his body is detached, he can control it much like it was still connected to his body. However, if the body part is replaced, control to that limb will be lost. Any injury to that limb can be felt so long as he maintains control of it.



Regeneration: if a part of his body is damaged, he can detach it and grow a new part within seconds.







Abilities: mechanical work: when it comes to cars, he's a master. able to repair, build, or even upgrade a vehicle, he's one of the best mechanics around.



Electronics: He is knowledgeable when it comes to electronics, able to alter many forms of technology into a similar version.



Hacking: knowing his way around a computer, Dean is able to hack through most types of firewalls. While most banks and museums are easy, military or high security facilities are too complex for him.



Brain teasers: Puzzles and other forms of brain teasers are a breeze for him. He loves challenging himself to stronger and harder varieties. If he finds one that stumps him, the boy will get irritated and do everything he can to find the answer or result.


Driving: Dean is the master behind the wheel of almost any vehicle. In his street racer, he is able to drift around sharp corners and swerve through traffic with ease. Capable of driving at break neck speeds without flinching, he's one of the most notorious street racers on the roads.




Weapons/Equipment: 9mm pistol: a basic police grade pistol that he lifted from an officer, the boy usually conceals this in a waist holster.



Wrench: a simple monkey wrench, while it's typically used for repairs, the item is heavy enough to be used as a blunt weapon.


Knife: a leatherman knife that he keeps with him. Apart from the pliers and knife, it also contains various tools useful in a pinch.



Street racer: a car he built from the ground up, it looks similar to a Skyline, however it's one of the fastest vehicles on the road and has a titanium/carbon fiber body and bulletproof plexiglass windows, making it very lightweight and extremely durable. A state of the art security system helps keep it protected from theft and burglary.







History: Dean was born into a rich family that owned a chain of banks. His parents, too busy with work and friends to pay much attention to him, failed to realize that he wanted their love. He would always try to get their attention one way or another. He would try going above and beyond, but that didn't do much for him. Often times, he would end up sitting alone playing with his toys. His favorite thing to do was solve puzzles. By the age of five, Dean was solving 1000 piece puzzles in about 10 minutes. But even that failed to get the attention he craved. One night, after being neglected for so long, he finally snapped, throwing a vase and having it shatter on the floor. His parents noticed, they were angry, but they noticed. It finally clicked, in order for him to get his parents attention, he had to act out.







As time went on, his outlashes were getting worse and worse. But as they increased, so to did the negligence of his parents. Getting tired of having to compete for their love, when the boy turned eleven, he took to the streets. Living in an abandoned car at first, Dean resorted to stealing for food and money. His parents sent out a search warrant for him, but after a couple of weeks, they gave up, believing that their son was long gone. After a while, a gang of criminals caught on to him, but instead of hurting him, they took the boy under their wing, teaching him the ways of the Jigsaws. They specialized in chop shop theft, stealing cars, tearing them apart or upgrading them then turning around and selling them for a profit. The gang also did some robberies and break-ins.







The chop shop business was really easy for Dean, he saw the cars as puzzles that you can change. Before too long, he was able to tear down, rebuild, and upgrade a car faster and better than the rest of the gang. His car was by far the fastest and most powerful of the gang's. But that wasn't enough, he wanted another challenge. Taking to electronics, he learned that most pieces of electronics were also similar to a puzzle. The boy began tinkering with any electronic he could get his hands on. Within months, there wasn't a lock he couldn't deactivate or take apart. While hacking jobs proved difficult, that interested him as well.







But at the age of 14, his mutation kicked in. One day, while walking over to a project, his ring finger fell off. There was no blood, he didn't even feel it, in fact, the teen wouldn't have noticed if somebody didn't say something. It scared him at first, but after being able to reattach his hand, his calmed down. It intrigued him even. Practicing his mutation, the boy eventually learned to control it. He was even able to move the detached limb as if it was still connected.







When the teen turned 17, he had a goal, he was going to rob his parents' bank. Getting a small group of his team together, the teen, then leader of the gang at the time, broke into the building. Deactivating the security system, the group was able to get in, get the money, and get out before the cops even arrived. Taking his share of the profit, Dean took off to the other side of the country where he opened up his own auto shop. Hiring on a couple of the thugs from his gang, the crew, for the most part, made a somewhat honest living, repairing and upgrading cars, but they would still do the occasional heist.



Shortly after arriving in his new hometown, the teen met his future partner in crime at a local strip club. After a few month with each other, Dean promoted Danni to second in command. A move that while most of the gang members frowned upon, a few, such as his right hand man, Big Boy, agreed with.







Weaknesses: Torso and Head: Being the center of his body, any injuries to his torso and head he can't immediately recover from. They heal as a normal person's would, if at all.



Pride: He is very prideful and doesn't take it lightly to being questioned or teased.



Ego: In his mind, he's the best at what he does, no exceptions, anybody attempting to show him up will be met with fury



Trust: Having been stabbed in the back a few too many times, he doesn't trust strangers or new members of the Jigsaws easily.



Car: His "baby" is his most valuable possession. He can't stand the thought of it being damaged and if someone scratches the paint, there'll be hell to pay.



Spiders: The 8 legged demons from hell constantly are a huge fear to the man. He has even shot a hole in his garage before when a fellow member's tarantula escaped its tank.
