Physical Appearance: Edward is most often clad in bright neon green suits, with purple question marks dotting here and there. He is particularly scrawny with a somewhat average height, his hair is a dark brown and usually unkept. He keeps atop his rather large head a green bowler hat crown. He often wears bright purple glasses and wears a similarly colored tie. He also often times seen wielding a large green staff like cane in the shape of a question mark
Personality: Overconfident is an understatement when it comes to Nygma. With an ego the size of the statue of liberty and an intelligence level to closely match he truly is the dictionary definition of narcissist. Coming along with Edward’s narcissism is his extreme case of obsessive compulsive disorder, often leaving him incapable of preforming the most basic of tasks without giving a riddle or puzzle. Despite the Riddler’s extreme narcissism he also suffers from an extreme inferiority complex and a desire to prove himself as better then everyone else. Among Edward’s many other charming traits include being the sorest of sore losers, shouting on the top of his lungs that whoever beat him cheated, and that he must know how they could’ve beat him not too mention an obsessive desire for attention. Ultimately he’s a flamboyant psychopath with a love for puzzles.

History: Born Edward Nashton to an abusive father and an absent mother. At a very young age his school hosted a puzzle contest which he became excited to win. In order to increase his chances of success he would sneak into the school at night and practice it. He ultimately won the contest and was awarded a book of riddles as a prize. His father didn't believe he won, he attributed Edward's victories always as cheating and consistently beat the child to stop him from lying. Spawned from the abuse was Edward's compulsion to tell the truth which ultimately led to his obsession with leaving clues to his crimes.
When he became older he took a job at the GCPD as part of its Cyber Crime division, eventually becoming convinced that the city's crimes were due mainly to the poor intellect of others and not economics. So he decided to take matters into his own hands, using his skills and technical know-how, not to mention his position in the GCPD to compile all forms of blackmail on prominent members of Gotham. He planned to release all the information Christmas Day, causing a chain reaction that would bring the city to its knees. Eventually Batman beat Edward (who was at the time calling himself Enigma) and destroyed his server, and uncovering his identity to be in fact Edward Nashton. Though he wasn't truly defeated, for his actions lead to leaking Gotham's mayor having ties with the Moroni family causing the mayor's resignation.
Eventually Ed was brought in by Batman and apprehended. Escaping custody several times and trading blows with the Bat. With each defeat Edward lost mental stability causing him to be locked in Arkham. Sometime along the way he changed his name to Edward Nygma (probably to honor his original moniker Enigma) and dubbed himself the Riddler. Fueling his compulsion for puzzles.
Battle after battle with the Dark Knight made Nygma ever more desperate as the days ticked by. Leaving Riddles, puzzles, and the odd trophy Easter Egg hunt but each time getting battered and beaten both mentally and physically. All seemed about average though, Riddler schemed and Batman beat, but after a particularly violent death trap and a few hostages nearly butchered in said death trap, the Bat beat Edward's face in. He blacked out, but when he awoke, he wasn't where Batman beat him, nor was he in Arkham... Wherever he was though, he knew what his goal was..... Find Batman, and prove that he Edward Nygma!! The Riddler, is truly the most intelligent being in the known world!
Weaknesses:
-Namesake- The Riddler do to his extreme obsessive compulsive disorder is completely unable to preform any form of action without leaving a riddle or clue to what he is doing
-Egomaniac- The Riddler’s ego has gotten the better of him on more than one occasion, often if challenged he’ll hardily accept only to prove his superiority no matter what
-Physically Weak- He's only human, so his strength is already rather frail. But Edward is particularly weak, a nerd above a nerds. Likely unable to throw a football more than a few inches

-The Riddlemobile is much better than the Batmobile!! It's just... Erm... In the shop!! Yeah that's it......
