Pick Pocketing- he can easily relieve a person of their belongings without them being aware he had done so.
Escapology: trained in traditional stage magic he is able to slip restraints, pick locks, and otherwise escape things such as handcuffs without resorting to magic.
Stage Magic: having been trained in stage magic he is excellent at sleight of hand, distraction, and hypnosis.
Hand-to-Hand: while he is a fair hand-to-hand combatant his skill set is comprised primarily of dirty street fighting tactics.
Lighter: he usually carries a Zippo lighter with him both for practical purposes such as lighting his cigarettes and helping him cast fire offensively.
Cigarettes: he always has a pack or two of Silk Cut cigarettes on his person.
Astral Projection: causing his soul to leave his body in order to traverse other planes and dimensions.
Evocation: summoning spirits, demons, and other supernatural entities.
Illusions: conjuring images that appear real while either being nonexistent or cast upon a physical object/being to alter its appearance. It can also aid in rendering John invisible to the naked eye.
Necromancy: Reanimating the dead.
Warding: using circles, sigils, and other means to cast protective magic over himself, others, objects, or places. On occasion this is used as means of shielding himself from incoming attacks. His knowledge of such techniques also allows him added resistance to possession, mind control, and mind reading.
Curses: Dark magic rituals that can cause a variety of effects ranging from death and damning souls to major or merely embarrassing medical issues.
Dimensional Travel: opening gateways to other dimensions and planes of existence including Heaven, Hell, and more.
Exorcism: John can forcibly remove a possessing entity from the body hosting it.
Pyrokinesis: John can summon supernatural fire, sometimes with the aid of his lighter or other items.
Magical Senses: Constantine can sense magic often detecting spells that have been cast or magical traps laid.
Synchronicity Wave Traveling: his only innate supernatural ability, John seems to just find his way to the right place at the right time. Sometimes this means winning money in a bet and other times it means being in the right location to stop a world ending threat. In a sense he can influence his own luck.
Tainted Blood: due to demonically tainted blood, his blood tastes foul and could be poisonous to creatures that would drink of it.
Jack of All Trades, Master of None: Constantine knows a lot about magic, but unlike most sorcerers he has not focused on his strengths. He could be one of the most power practitioners alive, but instead he knows just enough about a lot of things to be dangerous to himself and others, and that lack of specialization can mean the difference between life and death.
The Cost of Magic: Magic always has a price, but even John Constantine cannot always predict what that price will be nor how high it is. Sometimes if means physical pain, sometimes if means lying to and screwing over a friend, and often it means losing those he cares most about.
Arrogance: John gambles big in his line of work putting lives other than his own on the line. He has won so often, conned so many entities more powerful than himself, that he can be full of himself and expect similar results in every situation. Such missteps can come back to bite him.
The Weight of Guilt: Constantine has to deal with the ghosts of his bad decisions. Literally. A procession of his dead friends and those he has used up until their death follow him around and can drive him to distraction, sometimes straight to the bottom of a bottle.
Walking Target: John has tricked and lied to his friends, associates, enemies, and even the Lords of Hell. Whether it is a supernatural entity, a spurned lover, or a sorcerer screwed over once too often, there is always someone or something wanting revenge on Constantine. As a result he can never truly rest easy and those around him become even more likely to die.
Hellbound: John's soul is damned, he's heading for hell when he dies, and it scares the crap out if him.

Personality: Constantine is cynical, world weary, and more than a little arrogant when it comes to matters of the supernatural. A conman that can trick deities and devils alike, he is infamous for silver tongue and relishes the reputation his lies have bought him. Though he makes friends easily enough, he has a hard time keeping them among the living, something that eats away at him. Beneath all the lies, tricks, and schemes he’s actually a good man who would and has sacrificed himself for a righteous cause, but he is also selfish and acknowledges that fact. While his actions and willingness to sacrifice even those he holds dearest to are legendary, he fully believes that he is making the hard choices that others either can’t or won’t. Knowing what is really going on in the dark corners of the world he is not afraid to insult incredibly powerful beings or to charm them through flirting in equal measure. The same applies to regular people.

Arcane Knowledge- Constantine has a vast array of knowledge about magic, the occult, lore, various rituals, the supernatural movers and shakers, and more. Though born in Liverpool, John Constantine grew up primarily in London. His life though was not an easy one, his mother dying during childbirth and his twin brother dying in the womb, both actions his father Thomas blamed him for. Living with his abusive father caused John to run away multiple times, including once as a teen when he encountered Chas Chandler who would go on to become his best and thus far longest surviving friend. Though his sister Cheryl was the closest thing he had to a support system it was not enough to shield him from his abusive father. Fascinated with tales of his illustrious ancestors, the so-called Laughing Magicians, Constantine turned to the occult.
Having dabbled in the occult, drugs, and alcohol John finally left home for good after a failed curse caused his father to begin to waste away to nothing. Having taken up an interest in Punk Rock, Constantine joined a band called Mucous Membrane, comprised of his friends from the occult community. What would become known as the Newcastle Crew attempts to save a little girl named Astra who has summoned a powerful demon. Constantine arrogantly summons a more powerful demon who banished the lesser entity but also dragged Astra to Hell. The event caused the group to break up, each and every one of them carrying guilt and mental scars over the event, none more so than Constantine himself who ended up checked into the Ravenscar facility for the insane.
After a two year stay John checked himself out of Ravenscar in order to help the daughter of his deceased friend jasper winters who was being targeted by supernatural forces. From there he began to combat evil in an alliance with the mysterious angel Manny, teaming with his old friend Chas chandler and psychic zed martin in order to combat the rising darkness. john discovered that the evil brujeria cult was behind the rising darkness, but someone feared constantine getting too close to the truth. during an attempt to contact a powerful entity that could help him discover who was behind the brujeria his spell went wrong, altered by some unknown cosmic force. After the initial explosion, john awoke in a new world not his own, all attempts to return thwarted by powerful supernatural forces.
Since then Constantine has continued to do what he does best: combat the beings that step out of the shadows to terrorize mankind. With a wink, an insult, and the best lies ever spun he’s done pretty well for himself in this new world despite the continued trend of lines of bodies left in his wake. even here though he sees signs of the rising darkness confirming his worst fears. the evil force is a threat to all worlds and all planes of existence and he may be the only one who can stop it. God help us all.
