history:
Ever since Blake could hold a stick, his father would train him to follow the family heritage of becoming a ninja. The Cross family has always protected the weak and innocent, while fighting the enemies in the shadows. In fact, a lot of the wars were won thanks to the behind-the-scene assassinations by Blake's ancestors. While his training was tough and very thorough, it also took up a lot of his time. During his down time, his mother would home-school him. However, because of his lifestyle, he didn't have very much interaction with the outside world. Once he turned 12, the boy started sneaking out at night. He would run across the rooftops, feeling the wind blow through his hair as he jumped from structure to structure. It was during this time, he met his best friend, Michael. The two would hang out at night whenever they got the chance.
Shortly after his 13th birthday, however, Blake was running on the rooftops when a ledge gave out as he was jumping. Instead of falling into the wall, he phased through it, ironically finding himself in the jail cell of the local police station. Needless to say his parents were beyond infuriated when they had to pick him up. His father increased the difficulty of their training. By the time he was 15, Blake was able to match his father on skill. However, it was also around this time his mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer. He still remembers the last words she said to him: "Don't forget who you are, and never let anybody change you."
Shortly afterwards, his father became depressed, and started to neglect the training sessions, leaving Blake to continue his training. During one night, his father caught him trying to sneak out again, but instead of being upset, he handed him a box, inside was the longsword that has been passed down from generation to generation. It was also this night that his father encouraged that Blake go practice running the rooftops once more, much to the boy's confusion. However, once the teen returned home. He saw that the building was trashed and his father was no where to be found. It was also apparent that his old man put up a fight, giving the child hope that one day he will see his father and master once more.
weakness:
Mortal: In spite of his power, Blake is still mortal, and can become ill, be injured (if he can't use his intangibility in time), or even be killed the same way an ordinary human can be.
Projectiles: He cannot phase through bullets, arrows, shrapnel etc. If any of his vitals are hit, they will injure him as any normal person.
Electricity: Regardless if he is tangible or not, Blake can be hit with electricity. In fact, enough static electricity can prevent him from turning intangible.
Pride: Blake has too much pride to ask for help, even if he knows that he needs it. However, he has no problem providing assistance.
Girls: Blake has a hard time talking to a girl directly, particularly cute girls.
Fear: Blake's biggest fear is letting his team down and someone dying while he is around.
other info:
To help with money and as part of his down time, Blake works at a local gym as a physical trainer and nutritionist.
Blake occasionally works for a special OPS team that send him on missions. Typically they call for stealth or a special touch that blake can provide
While in his civilian clothes, or on certain missions, Blake has a speed bike that is both agile and silent.
