Identity: Kingsley struggled for a many months to keep it secret, but ultimately the Hobsgoblin's identity was revealed to be non other then Roderick.

Physical Appearance: Being a a major fashion designer and CEO of a major player in the fashion industry, appearance means everything to Kingsley. So much so, that the Hobgoblin's costume design was painstakingly crafted to fit his personal specifications of style over substance. This basically means Kingsley sacrifices safety and utilities for a better looking costume. The most unremarkable part, yet most iconic is the Hobgoblin mask. All the Hobgoblin's mask truly is, was simply a scavenged Green Goblin mask shaded yellow. That being said, the mask with its beaty red eyes, snarling and fanged grin, and scaly complexion still makes for a menacing appearance. His armor is a refined blue chain mail, with an orange tunic and cloak over it. The cloak's hood often shadows his mask, and it's cape is tattered and torn. His gloves and boots are of a similar color and cloth to his cloak and tunic. Out of costume, Kingsley is an older fellow with bleached white hair. His skin is a light hue of pink, and eyes a hue of light blue. Due to consuming the Goblin formula, Kingsley has some relatively visible muscle mass. His attire always consists of elaborate designer suits of only the most expensive fabrics, a personal preference usually being silk.

Personality: Hobgoblin is quite simply, a greedy conman and a cheat. Kingsley is notoriously infamous for his ruthless business practices, and his insatiable thirst for money is unquenchable. His number one driving force is greed, he'd sell his own mother of it meant making a quick buck, and has even tried multiple times to sellout his brother. There's never a moment when he isn't trying to swindle you for money, and will constantly harass anyone just to pawn off his merchandise. "Oh!! And by the way, the Hobbe-Shoppe is having a three week sale on all Goblin Gadgets! Get yours now, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity!!!!" Kingsley has little empathy for others, and is widely considered a snake in the grass amongst the underworld, and his "shake with one hand, hold a pumpkin bomb in the other" philosophy has garnished him a considerable reputation of infamy. Among his other fabulous qualities include a considerable amount of narcissism (more like an ego the size of Central Park), and a total lack of courage when the odds are stacked against him.

Powers: All of the
•Goblin Serum: By drinking Norman Osborne's Goblin Serum, Kingsley gained many of the Green Goblin's powers. Including:
•Superhuman Strength: Kingsley can lift approximately 8-9 tons, and is roughly as strong as both Spiderman and the Green Goblin
•Superhuman Speed and Stamina: While he's certainly no speedster, Kingsley's speed an stamina far exceeds that of the average human
•Superhuman Durability: Hobgoblin is durable enough to survive blunt trauma, powerful impacts such as falling, gunshot wounds, and even blows from other superhumans.
•Regenerative Healing Factor: Kingsley's ability to heal, while nowhere near as efficient as other superhumans, can heal potentially lethal injuries in a matter of days or weeks.

Abilities:
•Marketing Mind: Kingsley's mastery of the business world has garnished him an empire that far exceeds his roots in the fashion industry. He knows all the ins and outs of the business world, and applies these skills in marketing his persona.

•Master Manipulator: Hobgoblin's a master manipulator, and easily coerces saps into his cons and schemes.

•Strategic Mind: Kingsley is a strategic genius, and has on occasion even outsmarted Osborne.

Weapons/Equipment: All of Kingsley's gear and equipment is salvaged equipment from the original, Green Goblin. Therefore his stock is somewhat more limited then Osborne's. He does, however; know how to create the weapons and equipment he does have due to studying Osborne's notes.

•Goblin Glider: Kingsley's main form of transportation, the Goblin Glider can reach speeds of 90 mph and is capable of supporting over 900lbs plus Kingsley himself.

•Pumpkin Bombs: Small handheld explosives that can either be an immediate explosion, an incendiary explosion which releases enough heat to melt through steal, or a smoke/gas mostly used to disorient.

•Goblin Armor: A chain-mail suit of armor that provides protection from punches and other impacts.

•Flying Razor Bats: Razor sharp projectiles shaped like bats. Often thrown at enemies or used to cut Spider-Man's webbing.

History: Not much is known about Kingsley's early life. But, what is known is that using rather questionable and downright ruthless business tactics, he became a powerful broker, and fashion kingpin with industries stretching far beyond even fashion. When Norman Osborn had been presumed dead, Kingsley took over the Goblin Mantle. Having discovered the location of one of Osborne's caches, and studied up on all his weapons and equipment, claiming the Green Goblin's trinkets as his own and becoming the Hobgoblin.

Roderick's first act as the Hobgoblin involved blackmailing all his major competitors. After a failed battle against Spiderman, Hobgoblin decided he needed Osborne's Goblin formula to grant him super strength. First testing the formula on one of his stooges, Kingsley terminated the test subject and injected some of the formula into himself, first removing the factor which caused insanity.

Kingsley tested his new strength out in a fight between him and Spiderman, however Black Cat's interference caused him to lose with both assuming he'd drowned. After which, Kingsley used a handful of "puppet Hobgoblin's" to further his own ambition. One of which was reporter Ned Leeds. Using Leeds to aide Richard Fisk during the Gang Wars. Kingsley was eventually unmasked by Spiderman, after which he went into hiding in retirement.

After he'd taken a short retirement from the Hobgoblin moniker, Kingsley felt relatively amused at the young Jason Macendale assumed his Hobgoblin identity. He returned from retirement, dissatisfied with how Macendale had been treating the Hobgoblin and took the moniker back by force. Hobgoblin, embittered by his defeat at Spider-Man's hands became a frequent of his foes. Trading blows with The Green Goblin, Spiderman and even the Kingpin. At one point even joining Doctor Octopus' Sinister Six. During one of his escapades, Roderick found himself transported into this new world with a cache of his weapons, and a lump sum of his money.

Weaknesses:
•Style Over Substance: Kingsley will always choose style over substance. He is more then willing to sacrifice a little safety just to look better.

•Petty Greed and Envy: Hobgoblin's one and only motivation; cold hard cash. He'll go to outlandish lengths just to earn a quick buck and will screw over just about anyone to earn it.

•Human-Goblin-Man-Thing: Whilst Kingsley is jacked up on Goblin juice, he's only human and is very much susceptible to death.

•Goblins are always Hideous: Hobgoblin's mask, whilst terrifying, is also exceedingly ugly. It does very few favors for him in terms of beauty.

•Goblin Mania: While Kingsley certainly isn't insane, his mental state is far from stable, and is borderline bonkers.

•A Chicken or a Goblin?: Should the odds get stacked against him, Hobgoblin will most definitely choose flight over fight. He's a coward by heart, and is not afraid to admit it.
