CAPTAIN AMERICA "If they hurt you, hurt 'em back. If they kill you? Walk it off." InfoThe name and legend of Captain America isn't just for show. He wields the power of one of the most successful versions of the fabled super-soldier serum within his blood, and he uses it as best he can. Tough, agile, and smart, the Captain is a force to be reckoned with for even the most dangerous of adversaries. It would be a disastrous mistake to forget about his shield, too. But he is still a man, and has the heart of a loyal and dependable soul. His enemies are many, but his friends are more. FriendsWar Buddies: Steve has fond memories with those he served in the War with. Names like Bucky Barnes, Logan Howlett, Nick Fury Sr., and even Namor the Submariner. In this strange land, should he meet any of those he served with, he would greet them with a warm welcome. In particular his longtime friend and companion Barnes, who he served with the longest, and who he owes his life to and vice-versa. The Avengers: Beyond his suspended animation and subsequent revival, the heroes he fought alongside in the legendary Avengers are counted among his closest friends. Tony Stark, the Iron Man, was often the closest despite their differences. Others such as Hawkeye, the Falcon, Peter and Wanda Maximoff, the mighty Thor, the incredible Hulk, the amazing Spider-man, and many more would go on to forever earn Roger's respect and friendship. The X-Men: Though not directly affiliated, Steve had worked with many of the mutants on numerous occasions, and grew to treat them as his comrades as well. In particular were Professor Xavier, and Wolverine (who he had served with prior as well). EnemiesThe list of Captain America's enemies is seemingly endless. The Red Skull, Baron Zemo, Strycker, Jack the Ripper, Doctor Doom, Mister Sinister, Norman Osborne, Magneto, such villainous groups as HYDRA, AIM, the Masters of Evil, and many, many more. He took an active stance against those that would suppress liberty and freedom, and never shirked his duties as a hero, bringing him into confrontation with an uncountable collection of villains over the years. If your intentions are evil, rest assured, Steve Rogers will step in to stop you. FamilyAll of Steve's biological family are dead, however he does have an adopted son, Ian Zola, who goes by the name of Nomad. Interested In Doing....Having just been thrown into this new and strange world, Captain America's first action would be to learn at least something of the world around him, and find out just how much is different. He'd be eager to see any familiar faces, and would be content with listening to anyone who could give him information. OtherCurrently, I plan on dropping him in Central Park, in front of LOTS of people. Take that for what it's worth!

Wanda and Steve: Wanda is going to hear about Iron Man and go looking for him. She is currently a wanted Neo for knocking down a building. She is the cinematic universe Wanda and has come to this earth after the events of Civil War. I'd love to have her meet up with Steve again, even if they are from different timelines. Dr. Strange and Steve: Strange is a lot like Tony when it comes to personality. If Cap ever needed anything Strange is sure to help him out. Zatanna Zatara and Steve: Zatanna is in and out of New York. Would be pretty interesting for these two to meet since Zee is from DC and Steve is Marvel.

Blue Dragon/Josh Dragomir will have heard the name Captain America from @wanda and will have seen his appearance via the vision she showed him. Should he see him, he'd likely go out of his way to make sure Cap is informed, and do what he can to help him out, potentially even assisting in reuniting him with Wanda if he can (Why? Because he quite clearly harbors a small crush, but I won't get into that at the moment ) Regardless, in Dragon, Cap would likely find himself a loyal ally, in the trials that are to come.

Excellent ideas!
While I'd be more than happy to have Cap meet up with Strange and Zatanna, I think it'd be best to pursue the whole Wanda / Dragon angle -- obviously opens up the door to the most RP and plots and such. As I mentioned his first unintentional stop is Central Park, where he'll be seen by just about everyone, what with tourists and the media and all. So perhaps Dragon could meet up with him around that point, if not Wanda as well, and we could go from there?

Having been reading through your bio, Cap, I see that AIM are partly responsible for both Steve and Betsy being dropped into this new world. As a result, I was wondering if you'd be interested in having them arrive in Central Park at more or less the same time?
I would imagine that, given you're partly based on 616-Cap, he and Psylocke might be familiar with each other and that might give them both an ally to start with. Not to mention that Blue Dragon was also suggesting Betsy meet him and this would knock out two HYDRA agents with a single flying shield. Or a metaphor of your choice.
Does that sound of interest to anyone?

Damn, between Blue Dragon, Captain America, Psylocke and Scarlet Witch we pretty much have enough people for a superheroes team pretty much just from the amount of people in this plot
All kidding aside, I'm game if you guys are.

I think it'd be interesting for The Captain and Imp to meet, sooner or later.^^ Granted,Cap would probably be greeted with much wariness, and a good deal of cheek on the colors of his uniform, but at least it won't be much more then what he gives others.^^; As for circumstances...Hmm...well, it's possible he'd pickpocket the Cap/someone else, depending on when it's based and/or if he's managed to get a caretaker that can handle the whole money snagging, or we could do the whole 'meeting eachother while smashing thugs and muggers' thing. That, or maybe just a quick, casual run into in the store/etc.^^; Do you like those,or have ideas of your own?^^

For sure! I'd be perfectly happy with Psylocke joining in. I'm sure Cap and she would know each other at least somewhat, and methinks both of them would be glad for the familiar face. So it works out well for both of them. I plan on writing up an intro thread for Cap soon here, so I can tag you guys when that comes around and we can get this thing started. @imp: I'm up for anything! Any kind of RP is good RP -- well, mostly. xD I imagine you'd have a hard time pickpocketing Cap'n, though. Not to say it's impossible! You'd just need to be really careful.

Ha! True, Imp most likely wouldn't succeed in that, if we go for that idea.^^ Though, granted, the pickpocketing thing's been done a bit more then others...If you prefer that, though, we can certainly go for it.^^ If you're in the mood for Cap delivering American Justice to gangsters, though, I'm sure Imp would probably be in the middle of messing with a few. XD

After Steve meets up with @wanda and company, perhaps the Captain and Iron Man can cross paths. We can see where it is that each of them stands on the current neo-human issues and such once Cap has the lay of the land.

Aedan Byrne -- Well, we'll just have to see how things turn out then. Depending on what phase of the journey he's at after the threadage with Dragon, Wanda, Psylocke and co., we should have a better idea of what kind of situation Cap will be in. Iron Man -- For sure! I imagine as soon as either of them learn of the other's presence in the New World, they'll be very eager to meet up, especially considering each of them have their own experience working with the counterpart in their own respective universes. The meeting should prove to be fairly dynamic too. What part of the plot they have their meeting largely determines how Cap will respond to it. I suppose it'll be largely influenced by what he learns from @wanda and Blue Dragon .

Not sure of the how, But maybe a thread involving the two separate universe's original super soldiers could prove to be interesting. Maybe form a bridge between the Marvel and DC heroes through polite and fluffy conversation.
