Timeline: After: protecting the innocents and atleast im not meeting him yet. Previous Threads: Na Characters Involved: Blue Dragon Location: Streets Lian stood at the edge of thr stairs watching her baby sitter, the young teenage girl was fast asleep, even though they were told time and time again not to fall asleep. So Lian giggled and walked right out the door. She was dressed in her speedy costume but this time she also had on a jacket that was underneath her quiver. She was all set to fight crim in the cold. Lian had been making notes of a new local gang trying to muscle their way into New York. It wasnt Harley Quinn nor was it Jasons gang, it was someone different and well before they started getting to big Lian wanted to squash em. This ofcourse was to suprise Roy and Jason, after all she wanted to show them just how good she was, and how well she was learning from them. The rosy cheeked archer followed a suspect to an abandond building, well atleast that is what it looked like. After the man disapered within building, speedy crept her way towards the door, once she was in she stayed low, she had a couple throwing knives in one hand and her bow in the other hand. She was still learning about blade throwing but she had seen Batman and Nightwing do it, she even studied Red Hood while he was training, again that was back on her world but it was all the same. Speedy crouched behind some boxes and peaked though the cracks. She could see a whole group of men sitting at a table, she saw that they each had weapons and they were talking about something. Smirking the young girl crawled up on the boxes and found her way onto a ceiling suport bar, scooting her way across quitely she was able to hear the men. Reaching into her quiver she pulled out a recorder and tied it to some rope then lightly began realing ot down towards the group, she did stop before the device was seeable. The device was picking up on a huge part of their conversation and speedy was very pleased with herself, she couldnt wait to get this information back home and analize it in her Arrow Cave.

No more distractions, he had decided. This was it. No more. He had beat around the bush and gotten involved in the affairs and made himself wanted by the government, and in turn made his job harder... Long enough. The Barbos' Syndicate was still out there, and it was growing more powerful by the day. This needed to end, here and now. Blue Dragon had been alerted to the location of one of the officers after doing a drug bust and getting the information from them. Their officer was apparently in this very building on this night, discussing business. He'd also been informed that the place was heavily guarded. Great, he had his work cut out for him, how lovely. This was going to be sooo fun. Yes, that is sarcasm you may detect in my writing. He's not happy. But at least it's an opportunity. The door would lightly creek open, as the Blue Dragon would try to be as quiet as he could upon entry. The first thing he noticed was a group of thugs sitting at a table, discussing. As he looked around though, he could vaguely make out something hanging from just a ways above the door... "The hell?" He muttered in turn, squinting to try to make it out. Speedy III

Lian kept her eyes on everything and even watched her way out. So when the door opened and she saw a figure come in and look at her she bit her lip. She sighed quietly, hoping that she wasn't caught. She looked back down to the people she was recording and kept an eye on the guy at the door. Though he didn't look like a regular shadow, there was some different shape to him, not completely human shape. Perhaps this was a Neo-Human, She wondered if they were a bad guy or a good one. Once the group was about to quit she rolled up the recorder and latched it safely into her belt and started scooting across the roof. However, this time it didn't go unnoticed. "Ey, Boss look at that!" one of the thugs called out as he pointed in Lian's Direction. She noticed this right away and leaped from the roof, landing on a crate of boxes and flipping off of that landing on the ground. She then pulled an arrow into her bow and strung it pointing it right at them. "Calm down bad guys! I'm here to bring you to justice." Lian spoke as they pointed their guns at her. It was clear to tell that Lian was a kid and probably taking on way to much, or was she? Lian fired her arrow at one of the men, letting it land on his shoulder blade. She then took off running as they shot at her. During this time she started to put another arrow on her bow and fired it once more. Blue Dragon

Dragon watched this kid carefully, wary on if she was going to squeal or not. If she squealed to the guards, he was going to have to jump into action immediately. He would hold up a finger to shush her, but it was too late. She had already begun crawling across. Dragon took a deep breath then. Great, he supposed. Just great. Guess it was time to prepare for the inevitable. He would quickly draw his katanas, slowly starting to edge the door open to prepare for battle... Instead, the thugs would notice the girl, and soon after she landed, she had guns trained on her. The ensuing fire and arrow fire told him that she wasn't an enemy, but the kid certainly did need help. Dragon would quickly intervene, bursting in and walking past her as he would block several bullets with his katanas, before tucking one under his arm and holding out a free hand toward them as a fireball began to charge. "Hey!" He called to the thugs. "Get your boss and tell him that after this, he's going to be... FIRED!" He would pun as he would let the fireball fly, nailing one of them in the gut and sending them flying back. Speedy III

She could take down these men and get this copy of there plans to the Arrow Cave and maybe her dad... Maybe... Yet this man in dragon suit had to step in and try to be her knight in shiny armor, which would be sweet but he was blue, and she preferred her knights in shiny armor to wear red. She was a bit annoyed at the fact that again someone had come to her aid. How was she supposed to become the best Speedy ever and take over as Red Hood and become the best vigilante the world has ever seen. Granted she was eight and she had many years to accomplish this goal, she was just always trying to overdo herself. Which was not Blue Dragons fault at all, Lian was just eight and Lian was stubborn. "Hey, Mister! This is my Bad Guy showdown!" She called out in her squeaky little voice as he moved in front of her. With a frown, she launched an arrow into the rafters, along with it was a rope and once she had a sturdy pull she was able to launch herself after the fireball hit some of the bad guys and she slammed her two feet into one of the other mans head and landed on a some stacked boxes. Quickly after this movement, she pointed another arrow at the last bad guy and fired it into his shoulder. Once they were all down and crying in pain she leaped from the boxes and landed in a superhero pose. She then walked over to the bodies and started searching their beings for the drivers license or any identification cards. ”

"Kid, when it comes to these particular goons, this has been my bad guy showdown since before you were born" Dragon would respond pointedly without even sparing her a glance when she would decide to sass him. He would turn to spin around and aim a kick square in the ribs of a guy who would bring their bat down onto his helmet before they could hit. Once they doubled over, he would grab the bat and smash it across their back, before tossing the splinters of it at another and nailing them right in the head. With Speedy having taken care of the others, he would decide to get right to work. He would pick one of them up by the scruff, lifting them with ease as he would slam them into the wall.
"Talk" He spoke, his tone suddenly growing cold. "Your officer. I know he's here. Where is he?"
"Why would I-"
"If you don't-"
"You can't beat it out of me, I know your tricks! I'm unbreakable!"
"I'll have the little one chatter your ears off until you talk."
"What?"
"I've had to suffer through her complaining, if you don't talk, then we can't leave, and in the meanwhile I'll ensure she talks your ear off until you go insane. Do you want that? Do you want to suffer as I get her to prattle into your ear until you can't take it anymore? Have you ever had a child chatter in your ear as fast as they can for long periods of time? Hm? Have you?"
"..."
Dragon motioned toward Speedy.
"Alright kid, you seem like you like to talk. Time to put it to use. Come chat up this fine fellow and see what you can get out of him. We need an officer, and we need a location."

She then walked up to the two of them and cleared her thought as if she was going to speak in some long manor but instead all she said was two words, two very small words but they had a bigger meaning.
"Red Hood." Her voice was quiet and the way she spoke it was in an almost threating voice. Normally she wouldn't use his name, after all, he wasn't a good guy at the moment, hell he was as bad as they came. Well, not Harley Quinn or Joker bad but gang bad. Everyone who knew Red Hood also knew about his rule about the little squeaking child. No harm was to come to her, no matter what, and no one wanted to find out what would happen if they did harm her. Lian knew very little about getting people to speak as her father had yet to teach her about that kind of stuff, but she knew she could get somewhere with the name of her favorite uncle. At first, it didn't seem to do anything so Lian pulled out some crime scene photos she had of Red Hood attacks and just how bad they really were. "You see, my uncle doesn't like people like you. People who come in and try to take over his ground. This is just a few pieces of those who are left after he hits them up. I have his number, I'll call him right now and he will come riding in like a bat out of hell to squish you. And when I say squish I mean SQUISH." as she said this she made that movement with her foot like she was squishing a bug. "But I don't want to call him, because then he will tell daddy I was out here with a strange weirdo in a dragon costume and that won't look good for any of us. So you should just tell me what the dragon guy wants to know, even though I already know a lot of the information because you said it while I was in the rafters." Lian stickered. ”

The name "Red Hood" had no meaning to the Blue Dragon. He had no clue who he was, and thus had no fear of him. But if that was the tactic that the kid wanted to employ on the poor sod, then it wasn't his place to argue so long as it got the job done. It seemed to work on the mook though, and soon enough they had the location of the officer in particular. A certain room at the top of the building across the street... Good, that was useful info. "Nicely done, kid. Guess I can't get you to not tag along, so welcome aboard" Dragon spoke with a casual shrug as he would un-restrain the mook before promptly knocking them cold with a quick chop to the neck. Stretching out, Dragon would get his bearings and then look toward Speedy. "You're ready to kick some tail, then?"Speedy III

When dragon asked if speedy was ready to kick some tail she gave the biggest smirk and grabbed her pink bow and grabbed an arrow that had a rope attached to it. "I was born ready dragon man." She giggled and ran towards the exit. She then pointed the bow and arrow towards the sky and shot it. Once the arrow had landed on the ceiling and stuck to something Lian began pulling herself up. This was part of the job that Lian wasn't to fond of, while she didn't mind climbing, it was the fact that it took longer then it should have, which was why she started out before the dragon as she assumed he has some cool way of getting to the top of the building. Now if there was one thing she really loved doing, was jumping from the top of a building. The excitement she got from falling was something she lived for, while it was something that Roy and Jade didn't like her doing, she always did it anyway. Blue Dragon

"Dragon-Man? Well, jokes on you. Since you're the tiny one aiding me tonight... I'm calling you the Dragonling" He would joke back with a laugh as he would step out of the building. He was sort of tempted to burn it down in his wake, what with his fire powers and all but... Killing wasn't his thing and it was a side effect of doing so. Granted, nor was senseless destruction his thing. Nor was alerting people to their presence. Oh, but it was so tempting to burn it! Oh well.
While the girl would use her rope to get to the top, Dragon would simply let his wings pop up through the armor and he would fly upwards until he reached it. Stretching out as he ensured she was keeping up, Dragon would scan the area, looking around to see if he could find the place noted, before nodding his head, getting a running start and taking off...
