I'm a huge fan based in New York City. Things have been pretty crazy around here since you went toe to toe with Ultron, you changed so many lives, including mine and I will never know how to pay you back for that. You kept watching my back for the next while. I would love to tell you I'm doing okay now that things have gotten stranger since our last meet up, but sadly it seems I'm more lonely than ever looking out at the anti-neo billboard in my little place in Brooklyn. The death of my sister weighs on me, I could have sworn I saw her Tuesday but by the time I looked back she had vanished. I wake up around three every night with the nightmares of her death and its starting to really take a toll on me. Hopefully, by next week I will have gotten some help.
Don't Let Me Down,

Wanda had spent months writing the perfect letter, it was one of creativity and deception, but one that Steve could pick out easy. The letter had a note of the date, time and place. Sure someone could read it and pick out the details but unless someone knew everything about Steve and Wanda and the Avengers then it would be kinda nonsense. So when three am hit Wanda stood in the center of an abandoned building looking out at the billboard she had described in her note. After hearing that Steve was involved with the government and bringing in neos and vigrants she started to dought herself, she wondered if this was a good idea. She wondered if he would come alone like she hoped he would, or if he would bring them all with him. Wanda wasn't a threat to him, she wouldn't do anything to hurt him but the world saw her as Tony saw her that day he locked her away. They saw her as a weapon of mass destruction and well you just don't grant those a citizenship. Yeah, she knew deep down Tony was doing what he thought was right, and she didn't blame him for anything in the past, not anymore. She did, however, feel abandoned, but perhaps that was of her own doing this time. She did thank Tony internally for not letting her get caught that day she went to go see him. After all, he was the only one here beside her at the time, and she didn't really have his phone number.
She missed Clint, and she knew he would have all the answers to the questions she had. After all, Clint was the closest thing she and Pietro had to a father figure back in their world. Yet he wasn't here. She had heard that Bruce was here too, she hadn't been able to reach him as by the time she knew he was here she had no clue where he had gone. Her father was also here, and that was something she really needed advice in. He had offered her a place with him, while Josh had told her not to go and for the time being, she respected his wishes, but every now and then her heart would miss the memories she had with her father, and it would cloud her mind of what Josh had told her. She wanted the feeling of family, the feeling of belonging again that it really did take a toll on her. Yes Josh was a good support for that, and she loved him, but could one man really make the pain of losing family for the second time feel better on his own? Wanda believed in him but she knew that was too big of a burden and she would never want to place that on his shoulders. So perhaps this was her way of trying to help herself out.
She needed someone to talk to, someone who Clint trusted, someone who Pietro trusted, someone who she trusted. She needed Steve Rogers.

Sometimes it's hard.
But sooner or later,
every man shows himself.
