Gemstone is a new young superheroine who is the result of a normal teenage boy finding an alien device that changed him to a female with abilities from the race of aliens who had created the device. She is currently trying to make the most of her situation while training to become a better hero in this strange world where a strange phenomena dumping superheroes from other realities is going on.


Friends

Before becoming Kayley/Gemstone, she had some friends in school, but has since had to start over due to being and looking like someone completely different now and not wanting her secret to get out.

Gensokyo Girl - A teen idol also known as Gensokyo Girl, whose mother Kayley's sister now works with. Though they don't see eachother often, the two have become friendly acquaintances.

Frost Flower - AKA Jacklyn Winters. A girl from Kayley's school. The two met and befriended eachother at an ice skating show Jackie performed at and they have grown closer ever since. She is a powerful cryokinetic who briefly left Chicago after losing control of her powers but has returned, the two have grown closer once again.

Phantom - A phaser who works with the government that had been tasked with assessing if Jacklyn Winters was a threat, and later protected her and Gemstone against a military strike meant to kill them both when he deemed she was not.


Enemies

Any bad guy who threatens Chicago is an enemy of Gemstone's. Also any anti-Neo advocates overly disgust her and she will have nothing to do with them if she can help it.


Family

Lucy Smith: Kayley's older sister and legal guardian. She currently works in the fashion business and thus sometimes dresses her new sister up and gets her to model for her. Despite this, she loves her younger sibling dearly, having taken custody and doing her best to raise her. Due to her past career as a vigilante, she also trains her in fighting and self-defense to help her with her heroics.


Interested In Doing....

Aside from crime-fighting, Gemstone is also eager to become a successful comic writer and artist. She practices both in her freetime and strives to get better.
