The cloudy skies only helped to grey out the rest of surroundings as the teen idol paced towards the entry of the mall. Tugging a bit on her dark grey hoodie, she ensured the cowl was secured over her head and her hair was tucked inside the jacket portion of it. Putting her hands in the front pockets, the girl did her best to blend into the crowd, a task that was often impossible for the blue-haired sensation. With a hastened pace, she forced her way through a large group of people. But, she didn't even need to look behind to know that it didn't work. The vibration pattern was still persistent. A fan, rather a crazy fanatic has been following her for the past couple of days. Unfortunately, due a major incident at a concert a few days ago, Bobby was put in the hospital, leaving him unable to help protect the girl. With most of her friends being on the other side of the country, asking for them to help out would prove to be difficult.
Walking past an electronics store, one of the flat screen TV's was broadcasting the news. They were going over the explosion that cancelled the girl's concert. While the investigation was still on going, Kris had an idea of what, or who, caused it. The fact that her new "shadow" appeared the day before the terrorist act could not be coincidence. However, she didn't need a spokeperson to explain how it went down. After all, she was there when it happened.
Gensokyo Girl was sitting in her dressing room gargling a bit of water to help with her throat. Spitting it into the sink before using a towel to clean herself off, she smiled in the mirror, making sure nothing was stuck in her teeth, especially having just recently finished a rather leafy salad. A strong knock emanated from the door followed by a deep, yet calming voice. "GG, you decent?" Not even bothering for a reply, the knob was turned as a man that would put body builders to shame walked in before closing the door behind him. His bald head was shining in the light as his dark glasses helped add to his intimidation. Most people would've been hesitant to say anything, but not the international celebrity. Reacting with a snerk, then turning into a full-blown laughter, Kris nearly doubled over. "Did- did you get your head waxed?"
"What? It looks good...."
"Just need a flashlight and you could be a disco ball! HAHAHA!"
As if to honor her request, the walking skyscraper pulled out his phone and turned the flashlight on before shining it on his head. Bobbing his neck as he walked towards the middle of the room, he mocked a disco song. "Uns uns uns Ahh Ahh Uns Ahh Ahh" Once standing in the center, he turned around in a circle. Clapping and shaking her hips to the "beat" the girl was laughing at the improvised disco ball before giving the man a hug.
"Thanks Bobby.... you always know what to do to help ease the stress."
"Well, what kind of bodyguard would I be if I only protected the physical aspect of you? It's my job to help protect all of you, GG."
"I know but sti-" The girl was interrupted by a knocking at the door. This time, a commanding woman's voice was on the other side. "Bobby, you're needed outside, ASAP"
"Sorry, GG, gotta go."
That was the last she heard of him. A few minutes later, a low, thunderous boom echoed down the halls and people were screaming. The bodyguard supposedly jumped in front of a woman to shield them from the blast, leaving himself exposed and burned. He'll survive, but suffered a concussion, burns, and a few broken bones. The tour was postponed until further notice.
While there were talks of it being an attack by an anti-neo extremist, the teen had other theories. Otherwise they likely would've waited until she was in a bit more of a dangerous location.
Snapping out of her flashback, she glanced back just to make sure she wasn't paranoid. Sure enough, the man was behind her. He was wearing a ballcap and a denim coat. His pants were baggy cargo jeans and his shoes were a bit tattered. A patchy beard poked through parts of his chin. This time, fire burned in his eyes. She could tell the man was on to her and his pace quickened. Turning back around, the teen made a break for it. Shoving several people aside, attempting to make it a bit harder for the man to follow, the idol in disguise forced herself through several groups. The man was closing in on her. Unless she were to use her powers here, the chances of her being caught were gradually increasing.
Just as she was about to let loose, the vibration pattern stopped. Skeptical of the situation, she turned to look, only to find the man had disappeared. Did he give up? No, there's no way he would give up that easily. The halt in the pursuit only put the girl that much more on edge. Not wanting to find out the cause, she took a sharp turn, heading down another corridor of the three story mall.
